Good Cruise

Sail Date: December 01, 2009

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The cruise was just an Ok experience. The ship and most of the staff were very friendly and courteous. While the ship carried over 3000 passengers, it did not seem overly crowed. Most of the food served was flavorful and served with experience. However, it was almost impossible to receive your food hot. The Lido Restaurants were the worst for this. Warming trays were insufficient. Also, the tables were placed to close together in the main dining rooms. The entertainment was just awful. Loud. Just Loud. We enjoyed the fact that smoking was very limited on the ship. The embarking experience was not organized at all. Everyone had to check in and wait to board out in the cold. Thank goodness it was not raining.

Pros: Cleanliness of the ship

Cons: Entertainment

Recommends Carnival Splendor? Yes!

Children's Programs
What can I say.
Food and Dining
The food tasted fine, but many times it was served cold.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Comfortable, but inside cabins did not appear to be the size that was advertised. They seems much smaller than 185 sq. ft.
Service and Staff
Both the Food service staff and the Room service staff were excellent.
