Review SummaryThe new Carnival Splendor has only been in use a few months when we took our vacation. The lounges, dance clubs, casino were well thought out, but the buffet areas were not so easy to manuver for large crowds. The ship has a strange "pink" theme in it's colour scheme, but after a few days we didn't even notice. The pools were perfect for everyone... they have 3... and the hot tubs added a nice way to finish the day ..they have 5 ( some adults only...NICE). The vegas-Style shows were amazing two of the nights, but a few other nights they used what they call "Fly-Ins"-- comedians and music acts that board the boat in port, stay for their preformance, and debark. Those 3 nights were not as intertaining. We had an amazing trip inspite of the few and far between distractions. The ports-of-call were fun, if only a bit too short. and the staff was far beyond stellar !! Our Fine Dining waiter was the best, and the cruise director, Goose, was a hoot. We never wanted for anything and were treated far above our expectations. We would reccomend this cruise line to anyone, and plan to take one ourselves again in the future.
