An ok cruise

Sail Date: July 12, 2009

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

My overall impression of the ship was that it is the same thing you see on all other ships.

Pros: Being catered to

Cons: The rudeness at Guest Relations

Recommends Carnival Splendor? No.

Entertainment
The comedian stunk. The juggler was way more entertaining.
Food and Dining
We were upset to find out when we confirmed our early dining to get a late seating. We had a problem changing back to our original early preference. The food and service in the dining room was superb.
Service and Staff
When someone has a problem, they should at least look and sound concerned. They were really rude in Guest Relations.
Ship Quality
The quality of the ship was very clean at all times. The layout is the same as all other ships.
Cabin / Stateroom
It was very clean. At least on this cruise we had animals made out of towels, on two other cruises we did not.
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
The city tour was more a tourist trap.
Don't Miss: Canopy = the rope
Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
Mazatlan, Mexico
It was a waste of time touring the city. The stop at the beach was nice except the food was awful!
