Carnival canceled our reservation, did nothing to make up for this, and treated us horribly when we sailed. My father celebrated his 70th birthday on the ship. Carnival did NOTHING AT ALL to acknowledge this. Every other cruise line goes an extra mile to help guests celebrate a special occasion. Not Carnival! They milked us for every penny. WE HAD TO PAY for a birthday banner in his room, for a cake, and for his birthday dinner on the ship. WHAT'S WORSE, they delivered a cake a DAY LATE, placed the banner in the wrong room A DAY EARLY, AND STILL CHARGED US $55!!!!!! No refund, no apologies whatsoever. My family is utterly dissappointed. Even though we had paid Carnival over $10,000 for this trip, Carnival did not even spend $10 to wish my father a happy birthday!!! Carnival treats its customers with complete lack of respect. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
