Embarkation - Waited 4 hours at American Airlines Terminal in Miami for bus to ship. Bus never came, had to take taxi to ship. Carnival people at airport were of absolutely no help. Long line (45 minutes) from Terminal to board ship.Food - Good. The Nouveau Supper Club was very good -- well worth the $20 extra per person plus tip. Dining Room is double decker and very nice. Entertainment - Big Production Shows were good, other nights not too good. Cat. 11 Suite was great.Ports of Call:St. Maarten - great. Good shopping, good local restaurants. Both sides of Island worth seeing.Barbados - less shopping. Town closes early in afternoon. Not much time after morning tours. Were in port far too long -- sailing at 10 PM. Nothing going on in town after 4 PM. Good island to tour. Fun people.Martinique - one store. Do all your shopping prior. Not much to see on city tour, avoid it. Sails at 1PM - not much except beaches.Ship - beautiful. Too much smoking going on. Big lobby - lots of smoke and people. Casino is not seperate -- lots of traffic, and more smoke. Not enough hot tubs. Big slide closed all trip. Too many kids in adult pools -- heard kids pool was closed.
