The cruise director (Stu) and his staff as well as the Maitre D (Mr. V) and his staff were absolutely engaging at all times. If you didnt have a good time on this cruise, you were dead!!! One suggestion for Carnival, there are cabins for which guests pay a premium to have extended balcony on the 8th deck which are DIRECTLY below the Lido deck where a very loud dance party is held one night of the cruise into the wee hours. If you're not night/dance fans, it sounds like the ceiling is coming in and sleep is impossible until after 1:30am. Acapulco is great, lots of sightseeing and great shopping, Zehuateneho also awesome. Manzanilla not so much. Very young tourist areas with long drive to get there.

Pros: The crew was outstanding!!

Cons: Manzanilla - little to offer yet for excursion

Recommends Carnival Spirit? Yes!

Ship Quality
Recently redone and lovely.
Food and Dining
Seating for buffets was an issue.........very hard to find seating at mealtimes.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
This was one classy and engaging crew from the get go. It was our 6th cruise and by far the most memorable crew.
