the worst cruise ever

Sail Date: May 01, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Suite

we had a handicapped family member on this cruise. carnival knew of this person ,as she has been on their ships the past two years. this passenger(my 84 year old mother)could not properly bathe herself as the suite only had a tub.the crew was no help.most importantly noted carnival could care less . my calls when i returned has made me turn to finding another cruise line for future trips.

Pros: ports

Cons: carnival dropped the ball on our accomodations

Recommends Carnival Spirit? No.

Food and Dining
alot of variety. exrta money paid at the alternative dining not worthit at all.
Ship Quality
good size ship.little to no waiting at buffet etc.
Cabin / Stateroom
the worst ever. besides not getting handicapped suite, the phone and lights in our penthouse suite worked intermiterly. suites very old and tired.
Service and Staff
the problems we had were just plain ignored.the crew seemed as tired as the ship.
Entertainment
always top notch.
