Review summary

OK if you're looking to party with large groups that brought all of their friends and family with them but not great for couples trying to get away for a relaxing vacation.

Embarkation

Smooth, fast and hassle-free

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

1 out of 5
Cheap and poorly prepared food, cheap wine included in the Cheers package.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
One small pool to accommodate hundreds of guests which stayed packed to capacity, a sports bar for watching College and NFL games would be a nice addition, walking/running track was nice

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Lead waiter, Aleksandra, and her team were very friendly and professional. We'll miss seeing them for dinner each night! Room steward, Vida, and her team were awesome. She made sure we were very well taken care of.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The Sensation looks a bit run-down. It could use a face-lift inside to replace worn out furniture and decorations. The layout was convenient and easy to navigate.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Excellent for a short cruise. Clean and relatively spacious.

Ship tip

If you're not part of a large travel group I would avoid this ship. My wife and I were one of very few couples on the ship. The rest of the guests were there for family or class reunions, wedding parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, "meet ups", etc.

Ports of call

Miami, Florida

Key West, Florida

We arrived in Key West at 7 am when everything was closed and we had to be back on the boat at 1 pm. This felt like a wasted stop.

Cozumel, Mexico

Tourist Trap! You can't get off the boat and walk more than 5 steps without being hassled by people selling junk.
