Review summary

We had a small group of older (age 60) adults - 3 couples, no children. We all had a wonderful time, and enjoyed the shore excursions at Amber Cove and Grand Turk. You'll want an excursion, especially at Amber Cove, because there isn't much to do at the port.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Everything was well maintained and clean. Our only complaint was that the "Fun Ship" theme meant there was too much going on, too loud, and no place to sit quietly other than the balcony off our room.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin was great. Not big, but big enough. The balcony was wonderful.

Ship tip

If you want to relax, get a balcony room.

Ports of call

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic

4 out of 5
We did a waterfall hike, which was wonderful. There isn't much at Amber Cove - just a bunch of shops. If you don't book an excursion, you may as well stay on the ship.

Grand Turk Island

5 out of 5
We went on a snorkeling excursion, which was great.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Very well organized, very efficient.
