Review summary

I took a tour in Miami. It was the Southbeach tour. No one told me that I would have to walk about three to four plus blocks carrying 45lbs of luggage. If I would have known this I certainly would not have taken this tour. My back was hurting me when I finally arrived at the tour stop. Why can’t the same porters that carry the luggage on board during embarkation do it for debarkation? Or if not that provide luggage trollies. I had a great time on the cruise but it started and ended badly.

When I boarded it was 11am. A crew member told me that as a gold member I could go directly to my cabin. I walked to the cabin only to be told that the room was not ready and wouldn’t be until 1:30. I went back upstairs wit my luggage and went back to the same crew member. She told me that it should be ready. Another crew member was asked an and was told that early check in only applies to diamond and platinum members not gold. I was carrying bulky luggage and did not appreciate going back and forth for nothing.

The tour guide and driver were very informative. The tour itself was excellent. The very very long walk to the bus at the start carrying 45 lbs of luggage without trollies was caused my back to be sore for the tour. If I knew th walk would be that long I would not have done it.

Pay for a porter when you disembark. They get your luggage, and take you through their quicker line

I totally understand. I cruised in 2009 with an 11yo. I still remember the luggage being a huge Pain. This cruise (9/15) I am traveling light. And using Suttle.
