The best part of their cruise were the people working on the boat. Our waiter Budiasa was amazing, our cabin steward Swan was amazing and the cruise director Mat was amazing. The shows and entertainment were very fun and the food was pretty good.
The boat is older and has been updated but needs a bit more. There is one small pool on boat for everybody aboard which led to it being perpetually crowded. There are two large little used areas in the "water works" slide area and the putt putt course where an additional pool could be located. Our room smelled of smoke which our cabin steward worked to fix with some success but the smell lingered.
Lastly the time at ports needs to be extended a bit. Back on boat by 2:30 when we dock at 8:30 is pretty aggressive if you've scheduled a longer excursion.
Overall it was very fun and Carnivals staff is to thank for that.

TIP. There were a lot of cheapskates that took advantage of all the amenities on board then removed the gratuities from their bill. Don't be that guy. These employees work tirelessly and deserve every penny.
