i picked this cruise b/c of the ports/destinations.  the ship itself was smaller than other cruise ships that  I have been on and this ship didn't have that many outdoor activities available.  me and my family drink alot of water and i totally didn't like the fact that we were not allowed to bring bottled water onto the cruise ship.  i find it lame that cans of soda were allowed but not bottle.  Carnival also didn't seem to promote recycling on the ship: should have had multiple trashcans labeled for recycling, especially for all the paper that is given to every cabin on a daily basis.

Cabin / Stateroom
toilet smelled bad; didn't like the fact that the steward had to have a special key/tool to open and close the fold-down bed. too inconvenient and highly inefficient use of staff time.
Embarkation and Disembarkation
embarkation went smoothly. disembarkation at half moon cay was unorganized and guests should have been informed way in advance (such as when people are researching the different cruises and destinations) about getting numbers to get on a boat to take us to shore
Ship Quality
the toilet in the cabin had a weird, unpleasant odor.

all the destinations were awesome. we also enjoyed the excursions:

Service and Staff
the staff at guest services were rude, impatient, and their english language was mediocre. i would expect these workers to speak great english and be as personable and helpful as possible since they probably have the most interactions/conversations with guests' questions/problems. all the other staff on the cruise were friendly and great and although their english was ok, they were definitely much friendlier than anyone at guest services.
Food and Dining
food was just ok; the selection/variety of entrees were plentiful but didn't offer much healthy food choices and i found the food heavily salted.


don't pay more for the extra wireless/internet services b/c they are worthless. sending/receiving text messages didn't work half the time and using social media and snapchat rarely worked (even with the upgraded services);
