Review Summary
Carnival will not be seeing us again on a cruise. Their target audience is obviously very different than our usual cruise companions. Too many kids, too many low end cruise seekers, not enough adult entertainment/music, and a misrepresented stateroom configuration. Other than that, it was ok. service generally good if slow due to crush of patrons at bars. Dining room wait was long each night; food was good, service excellent. Serenity (the adult hideaway) was the only "safe" place for adults seeking some peace and quiet except for our own balcony, which was "invaded" by maintenance men on next deck up for removing rust from ship - excruciatingly loud! All in all a lesson in not buying "cheap" even for such a short cruise. We'll stick to more expensive adult oriented ships.
