This was my least favorite cruise but for the price\, I really can't complain! The staff was phenomenal\, from the management to the housekeeping staff. We also really enjoyed the spa and even went back for a 2nd massage! Carnival really knows how to treat their guests and they hire great staff. But they really need to upgrade the sensation and switch up the menu and spices a bit\, the food is lacking creativity and flavor. Also for those of us that like to cruise multiple times\, some variation in the menu and activities helps to not just make the cruise a dj Vu experience. But for a first time cruiser or a quick weekend trip\, this would be a great cruise.

And just a side note\, the half day Atlantis Aquaventure excursion is a rip off. You really only get 3 hours at Atlantis for $160. Not worth it.

Food and Dining

The food was not very good. I have had much better on other carnival ships. Food was bland and lacking flavor.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Same exact events that are on every carnival cruise. They get old after a few cruises.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff was the best part of the ship!!!

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship is so old and outdated. It's really time the sensation gets a facelift.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The room felt very outdated and rundown.

Pros: Price and the spa(best bamboo massages!)

Cons: Very rocky boat\, it's small so you can feel all of the waves.

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!
