Don't trust the fine print when you register!
I was happy to get the 4 night carnival cruise for a good price, but when I filled out the online registration for the cruise the information regarding pregnancy (my wife was 20 weeks pregnant on the day we sailed) was completely incorrect, indicating that no paperwork at all was required until after 28 weeks. When we arrived at the cruise terminal, we discovered to our amazement that they insisted on having paperwork from a doctor, even if someone is only 2 or 3 weeks pregnant! We had to call our doctor on a Sunday afternoon and get them to fax a list of answers to questions, and if they had not been available we would have been prevented from taking our cruise! I am truly amazed at how misleading the online registration from Carnival is, and what is required for pregnant women.
Otherwise, the cruise was good...the staff was attentive, keep in mind you will be paying their tips automatically at a rate of $12 per day per person in your cabin, charged to your account after the cruise completes. We appreciated the kids programs..well done, better than Royal Caribbean.
We enjoyed the trip and were blessed by the weather. We would do it again, minus the undue stress of trying to get paperwork from our doctor at the last minute!

Best part was the water slides! worst was the mini golf....we would have loved it but it was in full sun view during the day and closed at dusk! If they would have kept it open till 10;00, it would have been great!
