Cruising

Sail Date: March 12, 2015

Reviewed: 1 year ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Balcony

While we enjoyed this cruise, i found several things lacking from previous cruises.  No ice in rooms except upon request; no choc on pillows; had to walk all the way front to back of ship on deck ten to get down to the deck you wanted.  sad service when requiring lighting to be fixed - three times in a row.  muster was all in one room which i'm sure was way over capacity.  not easy to hear and then no one seemed to know where to have people stand outside during muster.

Ship Quality
neat and clean at all times in all areas we were in
Food and Dining
sandwiches at deli (2 we tried) were greasy; hamburgers way overcooked and cold

Destinations and Excursions
been on excursions before but nassau was nice and getting to and from was perfect.
Cabin / Stateroom
room itself perfect but---the breaker to lights went out several times. still had overhead lights but no bathroom or over-bed lights. happened 3 times so watch out for that. and no one answers ANY service phone after 8 pm - maintenance, housekeeping or operator anyways.
Port Canaveral, Florida
no excursions, but new building requiring lots of walking but easy to maneuver and very nice.
Nassau, Bahamas
4 cruise ships there but not crowded in stores at all. good tips from ship (other passengers mainly). beautiful walking and shopping

Tip

study the map first. most elevators from deck 9 down only go to one side of the ship - front or back. so you have to walk on deck 9 or 10 to get on the correct elevator. lots of walking.
