This much needed winter get away was exceptional on Carnival Sensation. We paid extra for the \"Faster to the Fun\" option\, which was really worth it. We arrived at the port at 11:30am\, check in took no more than 10 minutes\, and we were able to board and get in to our state room by noon. It really felt like a 4-day cruise by the time we debarked at 9:00am on Sunday morning. We picked a room with a balcony at the rear of the ship which was fantastic. The room and balcony were large and very comfortable to have morning coffee in our Carnival Bath Robes. The ship was just the right size for a short trip. The entertainment was mediocre\, but enjoyable. I liked that there was not so much going on that you didn't want to miss. We were able to relax and get plenty of sleep. Came home rested. The bigger ships have so much going on that you never stop moving. The food was excellent and the service superb. This was our first Carnival cruise (our 6th overall)\, and will consider this line again.
Pros: Relaxed pace
Cons: Shore excursion

Service and Staff
Everyone was very nice. Enjoyed talking with the staff and learning about where they were from.
Mediocre\, but enjoyable for a short cruise. The comedians at the late night shows were awful.
