Review SummaryWe were first time cruisers...everything was new and exciting to us! Carnival did not dissapoint! The food was great...lobster and prime rib in the dining areas, awesome chocolate cake, and burgers and nachos for the laid back days. I even tried gator fritters...and they were great! The girls loved the 24 hour pizza and ice cream cones.
Traveling in January, we didn't know what to expect as far as weather but we were perfectly comfortable in shorts, light jacket on the windy evenings...too cold for us to take advantage of the pools on ship, but my FAVORiTE part was our day at Atlantis in Nassau (warm & sunny there)-perfect for beach-lounging or for trying the leap of faith-not for the faint at heart! Adrenaline junkies have to try it!
We didn't really participate with many on board activities...our kids are too old for camp carnival, too shy for the teen club and my hubby and I don't drink so we spent most of our time soaking up the rays. If we could change something it would be to try to find something that stayed at port longer.
Overall...food was great, housekeepers amazing, friendly staff=great experience!!
Ps...we did get a tad seasick on our first and last days..Dramamine made us sleepy, i recommend looking into the seasick patches. :)
