For a first cruise, it was a lot of fun. However, there were quite a few people that had been on cruises before that were complaining. We had a problem with our shore excursion to Nassau that included a trip to Atlantis Resort. The cruise director told us that the time of our dophin petting excursion would be moved due to time constraints, and that Atlantis was already made aware of it. This was untrue and we spent an hour trying to get things sorted out. Made for a long day. Also, the pools were always crowded with drunk people. There was little or no opportunity to let our child swim.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Dining was fine. Out of four nights, I was pleased with our wait staff twice. Two nights, we had the same waiter and he didn't seem interested in doing his job. It took 40 minutes to get a root beer for our kid. We didn't like how everything but pizza and room service closed down by 10pm.

Children's Programs

The children's day care service was great. We didn't take advantage of it much, but they had several activities for our child to do.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Decor was outdated. Elevators took FOREVER, so if we wanted to get anywhere, we had to use the stairs.

Cabin / Stateroom

Pros: mostly friendly atmosphere, food was delicious

Cons: availability of some food services; shore excursion to Atlantis Resort
