Very diaspointing!

After priority boarding, I had high hopes for this cruise but things deteriorated right away when we attended the Muster Station drill. By then many of the passengers were thoroughly intoxicated, loud, and obnoxious during the needlessly long and inefficient drill. Since no effort was made to quite the drunks, we heard almost nothing about what to do in an emergency. We were forced to stand in the hot sun . nowhere near a lifeboat, for more than a half hour. When the nightmare drill was finally over, most passengers headed for the bars which were grossly understaffed.

The limited variety of food in the dining room was ordinary at best and the inattentive wait service was frustrating. After two nights, we refused to dine there again. The quality and variety of food in the Lido buffet was that of a school cafeteria. I only ate food from the salad and desert stations. No effort was made to enforce the dinning dress code so what we observed of some under clothed passengers was disgusting.

Unless bingo and the hairy chest contest are your thing, the entertainment was
most disappointing. The comedy acts were boring and the final review was a notch above high school.

We had the junior suite but it no different than an ordinary cabin with lanai on Freedom of the Seas. The upgrade was a ripoff. However, our cabin attendant was very professional. The rest of the crew seemed to be very unhappy and bored with their jobs.

Never again! Not only will I never book another Carnival cruise, I'm not sure I'll ever cruise again. What a waste of time and money!
