We've sailed many times before on different cruise lines but we don't think we'd sail Carnival again. It wasn't a terrible experience, but the food selections was very limited (the sensation is a smaller/older ship) so by day three you looked forward to dinner because it was the only time the food was different.
It also seemed under staffed. The shows were good but they only had 1 or 2 waiters working the room so on the last nights show it was impossible to get a drink.
Our cabin was nice (we had a balcony) but didn't meet the room service attendant until the last day. We're accustom to seeing them the first day.
We would not recommend this cruise.
