Sail Date: October 01, 2012 Ship: Carnival Sensation Cabin Type: Oceanview Traveled As: Couple Reviewed: 5 years ago
The staff was very customer service oriented at the beginning but you can tell that their patience was wearing thin by the end of the cruise because of the other rude lower class cruisers who were LOUD, rude, had no etiquette or even basic manners.
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Poor rating is because of the other rude people: wearing bath robes to breakfast\, towels on their heads while walking around\, pushing while in the buffet line (they acted like they were pigs at a trough which helped me stick to my diet and actually lost weight instead of gain. I didn't want to get big like them)\, yelling and making disgusting grunting noises during breakfast and lunch\, wearing skimpy prostitute outfits for dinner. Dining room food did not meet expectations. The quality was similar to a Golden Corral\, oh that's what this rude crowd is used to.

The musical was really bad. Felt like we were at a middle school production. Comedian was very very funny!! Especially when he too made a comment about Walmart people!!! There were very few who laughed at that one\, the rest were the Walmart people who didn't find it funny!! HAHAA!!! yes it was!!
Service and Staff

Very nice and responsive!!! Towards the end of the cruise\, we got some staff to discuss the other rude clients and it was a disappointment to hear that the shift in class of people is because of a \"book now\, pay later\" payment plan being offered by Carnival. Bad idea!!!

Smaller ship that the Miracle but still adequate to escape every day life. Clean\, decor was typical\, elevators were slow but a majority of the other cruisers were lazy and didn't do the stairs so that was great for us.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our room was perfect. The only negative was someone in another cabin was smoking and our room filled up with the nasty disgusting odor.
Pros: spending time with friends\, being away from work\, getting to stay overnight in Nassau\, Carnival staff
Cons: majority of fellow rude cruisers were typical Walmart clientele\, food was not Carnival standard\,
