Worst of the Lot!

Sail Date: May 01, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

Older smaller ship! A lot of the lines could have been avoided by management if they had opened up more sides of the buffet. Food was put out on both sides but only one side open and a huge line. Lines are not good Carnival. Avoid if possible. Getting on and off the ship could not have been smoother! They have it down to a science. Cruise director had Scottish accent and was hard to understand over the intercom as was the Capt.

Pros: Last night Show was great. Good music and dancing. Adult comedy was good....very funny!

Cons: Buffet Restaurant experience sub-par. Ship too old and small. Needs upgrade.

Recommends Carnival Sensation? No.

Ship Quality
Too small and old
Food and Dining
Many unnecessary lines. Food variety not as good as on other ships. Have to go through too many lines to get everything you want due to the ship design. Service personnel great and friendly
Cabin / Stateroom
Room clean and well laid out. No hair dryer in room so bring your own
Service and Staff
Entertainment
The last night (Sat)show great with good music and dancing. Adult comedy was very funny.
