Good...but not great

Sail Date: May 01, 2012

Overall, I would not sail on this particular ship again. I do like the Carnival program, however, this ship is very out dated.

Pros: Cabin stewards were very efficient.

Cons: Boat smelled like BO...food lines always too long

Recommends Carnival Sensation? No.

Ship Quality
Ship constantly had a BO smell in most areas. The decor is very dated, felt like we were stuck in the late 80's early 90's. In our cabin bathroom, you could smell "other smells" coming from the vent. So often times, you thought you were in a port-a-potty. Cabin steward said there was nothing he could do about it.
Food and Dining
Not many stations in the buffet area as other ships which made for really long lines at every meal,. Food was just ok. Compared to other Carnival cruises, it stunk. I really enjoyed the food on other Carnival Cruises, not this one.
Entertainment
They had the same comedians for the duration of the week. Other cruises, they had multiple entertainers. Seeing the same comedian 3 nights in a row is boring.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom was clean and comfortable.
Service and Staff
All staff was extremely friendly
