Not A great Experience

Sail Date: April 01, 2012

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

This was my fist cruise...the food was horrible..even my kids did not like the food..lots of activities onboard for the kids however lot of them you have to pay for with the exception of the pool and water slide.

Pros: The beach at Paradise Island

Cons: Food

Recommends Carnival Sensation? No.

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
The food at the buffet was horrible and the formal dinning room food was even worst...once you get to Nassau you can eat real food off the ship
Service and Staff
Very few of the staff, English was their first language so you had to explain whatever you wanted to deliver at least 3 times but overall the were pleasant
Entertainment
lots of activities you were nickled and dimed to death
Children's Programs
sucked
Cabin / Stateroom
Room is on the small side however our room attandant did an excellent job keeping the room clean and tidy!!!
