Carnival Pleases

Sail Date: March 29, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Suite

Arrival and embarkation was a pleasure. Lunch in the lido during embarkation is a bit chaotic but to be expected when boarding passengers. Room was ready when promised and lived up to all our expectations. We had 5 in the room and it was comfortable and roomy. The extended balcony made it even nicer with the 5 of us, plenty of room for all. Food overall was good, staff was excellent, overall this cruise was great.

Pros: Ease of Access around ship

Cons: Disembarkation

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!

Food and Dining
Lido food was good, not great, dining room food also good not great. No major complaints.
Ship Quality
Clean, organized and well staffed.
Cabin / Stateroom
Stateroom shows some age but in general it was clean, bathroom shower leaked and floor was frequesntly coered with water. This could have been due to our three girls showering frequently.
Service and Staff
A greal muti national crew, all very receptive, professional and helpful.
Ship staff provided clear direction when asked, announcements were sometimes difficult to hear but normal with all the regular commotion going on.
