Review Summary

I became Platinum on this cruise...did a back to back. There was a bottle of Champagne waiting for me in my room....and of course, my Carnival cooler. My new room Steward offered to move my luggage for me from my old room to the new one. While my cousin was waiting for me outside, her knee hurt her, so she sat in the grass. A Carnival employee discreetly asked her if she wanted a wheelchair..she gratefully accepted. I was checked in already and in the VIP area, someone was sent down to get her. He also wheeled her to the Lido deck. She and I were both impressed with the service. Our room service always asked when we wanted our room cleaned, and he kept my cooler filled with ice each day without asking.

Ship Experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I am not picky (I would be happy with a cheeseburger from the Lido), my cousin is a foodie...she loved everything, even the infamous Lido coffee. I liked it also,

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
I waltzed over to the Platinum line a couple times...someone was right there to help. By the end of the cruise, BOTH of us needed wheelchairs, our knees and feet were so swollen we could hardly walk. We were escorted right to the waiting buses

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
As most people, got turned around for a day or so, but after that it was fine.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved sitting on the Balcony in the Carnival Bathrobes in the morning, drinking our room service coffee Location of the room was perfect...just a few doors down from the elevator,

Pros: My cousin's enjoyment of her first cruise..she felt she was treated like a Queen

Cons: Loved everything
