An interesting experience

Room Type: Suite

It was ok. I think the ship feels dated. The small pool compared to the number of people on board discouraged us from swimming and the hot tubs/spas were overcrowded. The suite with a balcony was very nice and quiet. The stewards were very attentive. We think that more electrical outlets are necessary as my husband had to get a long extension cord that went across our room in order to plug in his snoring machine. Plenty of closet space, clean and plenty of towels, etc. Poor internet connections at time as the wifi seemed overloaded. Very clean ship and well managed.

Pros: The Service and professionalism of the staff

Cons: The Masses of people and the "cheesy" entertainment

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!

We were not interested. The Hairy man contest, cheesy entertainment....nothing very top quality.
Food and Dining
We had set seating with a time and group. Our table never had 4 extra places filled which made it seem less intimate for dining. Our waiters were great.....and the food was good. The service was too fast. We often did not get our cocktail until the middle of the meal, no matter how we tried to work that out.
Cabin / Stateroom
We thought our stateroom was wonderful. Just needed more outlets and a hair dryer.
Ship Quality
We would probably like a smaller ship with different activities if we cruise again.
Service and Staff
We were very impressed with the service quality especially having staff who represent so many countries. They were very professional.
Nassau, Bahamas
We visited the Atlantis and the Aquarium and had an overpriced lunch on shore. It was ok, but not something that was necessary. It is an ok port, but disappointing
