They TOLD us we were having FUN!

Sail Date: April 10, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

Our stateroom was not made up with requested bed configuration.

The soda card purchased could not be used by spouse (very chinzy!) There was no hair dryer in cabin.

The tables in the seaview buffet restaurant were not bussed in a timely manner and were left sticky.

Main Dining room service was somewhat lax, and diners wore tshirts, casual shorts and baseball caps (without being turned away) which did not add to a pleasant ambience. People came in as much as an hour late with accompanying noise and hoopla.

Wine purchased by the glass tasted like it came out of a box.

Mixed drinks were overpriced even for a cruise ship.

A photographer seemed to be "in your face" every where,eg. in dining room every night.

Pros: It was a relaxing getaway for us. Embarkation and departure was quite smooth and timely.

Cons: Bed; service; buffet restaurant

Recommends Carnival Sensation? No.
