Interesting 4 day cruise

Sail Date: January 01, 2011

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Suite

Beautiful ship, various activities, but communication is not the greatest and the food is only about average.

Pros: Rooms and Camp Carnival

Cons: Price of drinks and supposed buffet

Recommends Carnival Sensation? No.

Ship Quality
Only one small pool for the whole ship. Slide area is great even for adults.
Food and Dining
Food in Dining room was very good but at all other places was average. Served the same things over and over.
Cabin / Stateroom
Very clean and refreshing
Service and Staff
The majority of the staff were very friendly, there were a few that had "real" attitudes though.
Entertainment
The curves show was excellent, except for you could not understand the female singer. The tuesday entertainment schedule was very poor. Basically nothing to do.
Children's Programs
Our 7 yr old son loved Camp Carnival, although at times it was very hard to keep track of where the different activities were being held for the different age groups. Seemed like much of the time the closed will be back sign was on the main door of camp carnival.
