This cruise was wonderful. I've cruised wtih Carnival before and like always I was very pleased and impressed. There is no cleaning or cooking. You are truly on vacation when you cruise with them. The entertainment was better on another Carnival ship but the ports of calls were so fantastic you spent little time on the ship anyway. All the staff was lovely and had great personalilties. Rooms were cleaned very well twice a day with a towel animal to top it all off. The food was great. The drink were delicious. The cruise was also a very good deal and gave out a lot of complimentary things like sushi and drinks. This is a must do trip and Carnival is the best.

Pros: All the staff members had a great personality and were very friendly. Loved having dinner wtih others and getting to talk about different experiences with others and most of all comparing and contrasting different cruise ships with Carnival being the best. The food also was magnificent.

Cons: Our bathroom smelled a little like sewage because we were on the bottom floor however it was really clean.

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Because were on the bottom floor of the ship the bathroom had a slight sewage smell which was kept contanined by keeping the bathroom door closed but I've cruised with Carnival before and this was not a problem staying on the Empress deck.
I took a cruise to Cozumel on the Imagination and the entertainment seemed to be a little better on that ship but we spent more time on that ship and not on the ports of call as you do on the Sensation.

Nassau, Bahamas
Nassau was the best. We spent a whole 24 hours there and it was wonderful. Shopping is wonderful. If your a shopper like me and hubby then you'll love the Gucci, Coach, and John Bull stores. We even got tattoos there by the Tattoo King. Not the most upscale tattoo spot but the needles were new and sterile like they should be and are shown to you before anything is started. The staff there was nice and served refreshments while you wait. They also negotiated a lot on the prices of things. Senor Frogs was good and I expect that from them. Drinks were good and free shots poured straight in your mouth. Staff was live and we had a great time.
Don't Miss: Senor Frogs, Tattoo King
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Lucaya and the beach resort is a must see here. They have a pool with a swim up bar where you can stay in the pool in have your cocktails on the beach without leaving the water. The shops in Lucaya were also cool. Some of the souvenirs were a little expensive but you could talk the sellers down to whatever price you thought was suitable. Didn't visit the casino but heard some good things about it.
Don't Miss: Lucaya
