Room Type: Inside

This was our 4th cruise with Carnival and with basic expectations, as the Sensation is an older ship. We were pleasantly surprised and had a very fun and relaxing 4 night cruise, booked at a fantastic rate.
Ports of Call: Nassau - don't miss the Blue Lagoon. Book directly with Dolphin Encounters/Blue Lagoon online and save big! You will also get more beach time than those with the Carnival tour.
Freeport - not much to see here and disappointing isalnd. We booked a snorkeling tour with Pat & Diane's snorkeling and were pleased. The snorkeling location was excellent and the price paid was so much cheaper than booking with Carnival. We also booked this online directly with Pat & Diane. After snorkleing, there is very little to see. The beach across the street at the Radisson is very small.

Pros: embarktion and disembarktion were fast and efficient

Cons: choices of food in the Lido deck area

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!

Entertainment
The first night, the show was terrible. The 2nd and 4th night were much better and much improved over the last cruise. Adult comedy was lots of fun and the Love and Marriage show always gives you good laughs. The male singer was not good.
Cabin / Stateroom
What we expected of an inside cabin. Clean and comfy bed. Very adequate closet space. Take an air freshener for the bathroom!
Ship Quality
Staff seemed to be always cleaning and all areas were well kept.
Easy to get around with being a smaller ship, but wish did not have to walk by the smokey casino to get to the lounge. Don't miss the Serentiy Deck area for adults, great lounge chairs and view of the sea.
Food and Dining
Evening dining room expereince is the best. All food was tasty and there were very good choices to select from. Lido deck buffet is very average. Pizza and sandwich bar are are your best bets. The scrambled eggs are horrible!
Service and Staff
Too much photography and drink selling. I want to rest at the pool area, not be constantly asked to but a drink.
Dining room servers are the tops at the evening meal.
Children's Programs
Circle C - our 13 year participated and enjoyed. Would hae been nice to have a night time pool party or a ship tour. They can play Wii at home!
