This was my sisters and I first cruise. We found the staff friendly, our rooms were constantly cleaned which was great. The cruise was very efficient, getting on board and off the ship was very orderly. However we expect more of a food selection, room service food selection was ABSOLUTELY terrible, the decor was cheesy and the shows were lacking. By the end of the third day, we were bored and happy the cruise only lasted three days.

Pros: The efficiency of the cruise

Cons: The food service and activies

Recommends Carnival Sensation? No.

Food and Dining
If you want food during after hours dining your selection is pizza, sandwich, or ice cream. The dinning food was always lukewarm, and for the 1 and only night I received a piece of lobster, it was as big as three fingers.
Children's Programs
Children were everywhere running around!
Cabin / Stateroom
The rooms and bathrooms are very small. Beds are very comfortable. We didn't see no way to control the temperature in our rooms. They did leave us toothpaste, shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms. Our robes were cozy but had that used look.
Going to our (excursion) beach day getaway was terrible. Our transportation had to be rearranged since something happened to our bus. We had to go in three hot taxis to the beach. The private beach was very small but had a lot of sea grass in the water. The food at the attached restaurant was terrible, expensive and flies were everywhere. They also charge for everything, its even $10 to get an umbrella for the beach.
Ship Quality
Cheesy decor, the formal night was not as formal as expected. It took FOREVER the first day to figure out how to get around the ship.
Service and Staff
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The serving girl at Joe's cafe is rude. She has a bad attitude.
Nassau, Bahamas
DON'T go out at night unless you are planning to go clubbing. No shops or anything opened, except 3 or 4 clubs. Men on the island were creepy at night making cat calls to us..
