This was our 10 year anniversary and we were very disappointed. We have cruised with other cruiselines in the past, and after this one have determined you definetely get what you pay for. Food in dining room was so bad we actually went 2 nights and chose to eat out at the pool the others. The staff we found was not friendly. The lines were extremely long for food no matter what time of day you chose to eat lunch or dinner. Very poor set up overall. The senstation was a refurbished ship however felt as though it was something out of the 70's. Not many activities planned for the evenings. Terrible performers. The first night in the adult club there was almost a fight. Definetely not the experience we were looking for. On positive note, the only friendly staff we ran across were the stateroom staff and they went above and beyond. We felt since gratuity was included, much of the staff made no attempt. We actually gave the stateroom staff extra because of the hospitality they offerred to us. Overall, We will not be cruising with Carnival again.

Pros: stateroom staff were very accommodating. Gratuity was already included so felt staff made no extra attempt at all.

Cons: food was terrible. long lines

Recommends Carnival Sensation? No.
