Great cruise

Sail Date: April 09, 2009

Traveled As: Family w/older children

Room Type: Oceanview

They kept it very clean. Constantly cleaning carpets, walls and doors and public restrooms. My son enjoyed the mini-golf course and the water slide. The clubs and lounges were all very nice as well. This ship was a little smaller than the last one we were on, but you didn't really notice the difference. Our ship did have some mechanical issue - it vibrated A LOT. When I asked, they claimedit was the stablizers - - I don't thnk that was it, but we made it to our destination without incident.

Pros: The level of customer service was outstanding - EVERY staff member we met was SUPER

Cons: Probably paying for pop. Buy a pass 4.50 I think for kids...BUT if you do not drink pop, tea, hot chocoalte, milk etc are all free.

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!

Nassau, Bahamas
We found out on day one of our trip tat Good Friday meant everything was closed. 3 shops were open...YOu have to go to the rum cake shop. YUMMY. We LOVE the straw market. Lots of knock offs. Great for purses, watches, necklaces etc. Very cheap prices! Senior Frogs - kind of lame. The same experience as any other "chain' in a vacatin spot. Not unique at all.
Don't Miss: Beaches, the straw market
