A Fabulous Cruise

Sail Date: December 21, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was exactly what I expected. It was well kept and clean. The staff on the ship that was in charge of keeping it clean were always working hard to keep it that way. There were plenty of things to do and we especially liked the game shows they had during the day. My mother and husband were chosen in one of the game shows so that made them especially hilarious. The staterooms were very roomy and the bed and bedding were very comfortable. We had some problems with our electrical outlets at first but the steward was quick to resolve the problem. He also provided me with a blow dryer right away when asked. The nighttime shows were absolutely spectacular. However, we would have liked a showtime for the early dining the first night. They only had one show that night, and we missed it because we were not finished with our food. Most of the other nights they provided two showtimes for each of the dining times. I also think they should provide PG rating shows every night so that families can attend them. Or a choice of a PG or PG13 rated show for families. Our favorite show was the 80s show provided the last night. The dancing and entertainment that night was fabulous. My eleven-year-old boy especially enjoyed the awesome breakdancing that night. The staff overall were very helpful with anything we needed and they really attended to our every need above and beyond. Our waiter was awesome and was very eager to please and he made our dining experience all the better. We will definitely cruise again and this was a very memorable experience that we will always cherish.

Pros: I liked the shows the best

Cons: There could have been better choices of food in the dining room

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!

Nassau, Bahamas
We felt like the pirate tour was very nice for families. The historical tour was very educational and the tour guide was very friendly. We did not experience any restaurants on the island.
