Review summary

Our second sailing on this ship within six months and better than ever. Offers everything we want in a four-night cruise.

Ports of call

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

1 out of 5
Haven't been to Freeport in several years. Some improvement but not much. Did enjoy Port Lucaya and walking the grounds of the two new hotels there. Beautiful beaches. Unfortunate the cruise ship terminal not really close to anything. We took the bottom-fishing tour excursion but felt we did not get our money's worth. The two-man crew friendly enough but not very experienced. Had little time to fish as they were constantly maneurvering the boat. Would not take this excursion again.
Don't Miss: Port Lucaya good for a couple hours walk with some nice shops. Casino just across the street, small but nice.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Been several times to Nassau and always something to do. This time we contacted a local childrens' shelter in Nassau and brought along with us some much-needed items for the children. Got a chance to visit with the locals and do something nice for someone. Hilton British Colonial Hotel has a nice private beach with a great view of the ships arriving. Cost is $15.00 pp per day to use and it's money well spent as close to everything and walking distance to straw market, downtown, etc.
Don't Miss: I guess everyone has to visit the Straw Market once, so I would say that.

Pros: Layout of Ship, Bathroom & Cabin Size, Friendliness of the Crew

Cons: Dessert Selection at Seaview Bistro and Ice Cream
