Had a GREAT Time

Sail Date: November 05, 2006

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Oceanview

While it was obvious this was an older ship, we had a great time. There were areas in the halls and in some of the lounges where the carpet was damaged and needed replaced, other than that, we were pretty pleased. The entertainment - the Sensation Dancers, were awesome. Out of all the cruises I have been on, this one had, by far, the best shows!

Pros: The Entertainment - the shows were wonderful!

Cons: The "choppy" water

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!

Nassau, Bahamas
We went shopping in Nassau. My best suggestion here is to wait until all the boats (there were 3 the day we arrived) have disembarked before going to the shops. There were hot and crowded early on. As the day wore on, the crowds eased and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
We went to Port Lucaya at this stop. This was our first visit to this beach. We had a great time. When were were finished at the beach, there was a ton of shopping to do there!
Don't Miss: The beaches!
