Being our first Carnival Cruise and first on a large ship (2000 passenger), we were surprised on the relatively easy movement of people, ease of food service and surprisingly good meals. Overall, the ship met or exceeded our expectations. By booking on line and having the Fun Pass procedure at checkin, we believe everything went very smooth.
Disappointments were limited, but included not having a ship layout in our room in order to get our bearings. On only a 4 day cruise, we had to concentrate on where we were going, but everything worked out well. The food was varied and had good service, including using the waiter's recommendations for most meals. The room was always made up in a timely manner and any concerns were properly addressed. The other disappointment was not having a quiet cocktail louge with a musical group in the earlier hours (we received our requested late meal seating). You would think a lounce entitled Michelangelo would have some nice music. Instead, a very loud band played, and this was reflected in the limited crowd.

Pros: Relaxing Atmosphere, Good Meals

Cons: Port Stops

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!
