Carnival Sensation Cruise Review to Caribbean - Bahamas
Sail Date: August 27, 2006
Ship: Carnival Sensation
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 8 years ago
The ship's interior was refurbished in 2006 but they didn't put in enough of an effort to take care of the exterior. Looking out our stateroom window, we saw the rust on the window frame. When we were in port, we could see other parts of the ship that required attention.
Otherwise, the food and service was great, as well as the entertainment. My wife and I have been on 10 cruises, 8 of which were with Carnival. We have always been pleased.
Ports of Call
Pros: As always, the entertainment, whether it was outside on the deck, or in the theatre lounges was excellent. The cast members work very hard to put on a superior performance..
Cons: Carnival should give a complimentary boarding photo instead of charging $20 for an 8X10. There are plenty of other opportunities to sell photos. This has been the case in the past 8 Carnival cruises.
