Embarkation: The earlier you get to the port, the easier and faster it is. We arrived at 11:30am and boarded ship 12:50pm. Staff: Excellent (even the purser's staff). Everyone went beyond the call of duty to make sure that we had a wonderful vacation. Steward: Sixto, was awesome...no other words can describe him. Waiter: Rodolpho was funny and always brought us seconds of anything we wanted.asst. Waiter: Ivan was great, kept the water glasses full and brought us any special requests. Dancers: Are worth mentioning. Very talented group of people and even came out dancing in the disco on the last night. Food: Dining room -- 5 stars -- excellent. Exceeded my expectations, by far! Pizzeria: Very good -- 24 hours a day. Seaview Grill: Buffet style - food was good, hot, and excellent variety throughout the cruise. Room service - excellent - we ordered twice, and both times the food came in less than 10 minutes.Although selection is limited - food is good and convenient Entertainment: 4 comedians (1 excellent, 3 very good). Two Vegas-style shows. both very good. 1 magician (good): 1 juggler (we missed that show) 1 passenger talent show, that we also missed. Lots of things to do all week - never a dull moment.Camp Carnival: We did not use that service - however, it must have been pretty good. There were 725 kids on board and we hardly noticed. The kids that we did see were not "out of control. " Ports of call: Grand Cayman was awesome. Make sure you save some time for the beach. Shopping is better in Cozumel, anyway.Cozumel was nice. Went shopping and then to Carlos and Charlies. New Orleans was nice, French Quarter is not for kids but something you have to experience once in a lifetime. Disembarkation: Easy - eat breakfast at the Seaview Grill while you wait. We were off the ship by 9:30am.Overall: Sensation was 5+ stars. It was truly the best vacation I have ever had. This cruise is best for fitst time cruisersl, cruisers on a budget and people that like to party and have fun and families. I am hooked on cruising and Carnival.Would I cruise with Sensation again? YES!!
