While not as large as some other cruise ships, the activites and amount of things to do easily exceeded our ability to do everything. This was the second trip for us on the Sensation, and both have been very enjoyable.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Was disappointed in our inability to avoid the 815 pm dining time in the main dining. It just did not work well for our daughter and on a family cruise we like to eat together. Food on the Lido deck restaurant was better than before and made up for that though. Overall we were very happy with the food available and no one went away hungry. Wish they had more than one place to go for real ice cream though. Had to go down to the coffee shop to get a real ice cream sundae.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Same production of "Curves" that we saw last year on this cruise. I guess we expected something different. Still, well done and entertaining. Played a lot of mini-golf and ping-pomg, didn't participate in a lot fo the organized activities. We prefered to just lounge.
Children's Programs
5 out of 5
Very strong kid's programs. We participated in the 6-9 year olds and our daughter really enjoyed her time. Lot of variety, with high points being playing Wii, making sno-cones, and having snacks of course. Used the services a total of about 8 hours over the course of the cruise.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Very courteous and helpful. Had a wonderful time and always found someone to help us out when we needed it.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Not as big as other cruie ships, but very well kept and clean. We saw no problems this time around (last time there were issues with some of the bathrooms being out of service). Really enjoyed the new water park area on the aft deck.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very nice, well kept and comfortable. Course we basically just slept there.
Really enjoyed the Pirate "museum". It was more a set of re-creations of pirate environments (ship scenes, etc) than a collection of artifacts, but very well done. If the "pirate" greeting guests is the same one we had, it makes the whole thing enjoyable. Good convincing pirate. Also enjoyed the horse carriage ride - nice little diversion and not too pricey.

Went to the Viva Wyndham Resort. Nice beach and very pleasant day. Not real elaborate (not like Atlantis) but a really nice get-away. Food was OK (better than I expected based on some other reviews I had read). Kind of pricey though considering you only stay there for about 5 hours. Can't comment on the rest of Freeport or the island - didn't see it.
