Cold but fun!

Sail Date: January 01, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

The staff was wonderful! The dinner selections were quite tasty but the non-dinner options were less than ideal for someone who is mindful of what they ingest.

More leniency for kids on the cusp of age groups. My nephew was 1 month shy of being in the 11 and up group but was not allowed to participate. Making teddy bears was not his idea of fun.

Pros: wonderful staff, cabin amenities, room service, dinner menus

Cons: not enough healthy choices during non-dinner, age groups for kids

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!

Food and Dining
Dinner was excellent with ample choices. Would like to see healthier options for the non-dinner hour.
Cabin / Stateroom
Loved our room with the veranda!
Service and Staff
Anna was exceptionally friendly and helpful attending to our rooms. Carlos was an excellent server for our dinners!
Children's Programs
More leniency for kids on the cusp of age groups. My nephew was 1 month shy of being in the 11 and up group but was not allowed to participate. Making teddy bears was not his idea of fun.
