Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

Cabin was sold as a suite - balcony was unusable and not private - it was so small you had to climb over one chair to reach the other one - there was no space in front, behind or to the side of the 2 small chairs - we had to dangle our feet over railings to the deck below in order to sit on a chair - people were walking on deck below so no privacy. People in next cabin were so close they could look into our cabin. And, they continually smoked so all the smoke came into our cabin. Balcony was recessed and so not on the outside of the ship. Deck plan did not show it was not on the outside of the ship - view was partially obstructed by long hoists coming from deck below to deploy inflatable lifeboats stored below us.

Pros: Service of Cabin and Dining Room Staff

Cons: Unusable balcony

Recommends Carnival Sensation? No.

Ship Quality
Our cabin was at the front of the ship and our dining room was at the back - yet there was another dining room much closer - made no sense.
Cabin / Stateroom
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
Guest services insisted we had a Demi Suite and not a Suite - yet there were no categories for a Demi Suite - and no description.
Dancers and shows were better than the Glory
