ok. But not what i expected

Sail Date: August 01, 2008

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship seemed a bit dated. It reminded me of Las Vegas in the early 90's because of the purple and flashing lights. There was not enough signage leading you to the specific areas of the ship. the halls where the staterooms were seemed endless and if you took one wrong turn it took forever to find your room. There was not enough seafood offered and the lines were ridiculous. This ship was built in 1993 and it shows. For the money you spend, pick an updated ship with more restaurants (there are only 4), more pools (there are only 3) and more activities for adults and children.

Pros: The variety of foods

Cons: I could get what they served any where.

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Entertainment
There aren't enough pools and the few that they have are 4 feet 9 inches deep with no lifeguard.
Children's Programs
There wasn't enough activitiesfor the kids. They keep them in a playroom for most of the day.
