3 Night Bahamas (Port Canaveral Roundtrip) Sail Date: June 19, 2008 Ship: Carnival Sensation Cabin Type: Inside Traveled As: Couple Reviewed: 9 years ago
The service was impeccable. From the wait staff in the dining rooms to the room attendants. The entertainment was awesome! They had some of the best shows that I have ever seen, it reminded me of VEGAS. The food was plentifull. Whenever we felt like we wanted to eat there was always something there to eat. There was always something to do, some type of activity. The only way people didn't have a good time is because they chose not to have a good time. We had fun from the time we put our carry-on bags in our room until we left the ship.
Food and Dining

The quality of food was great!! There was such a variety that it was sometimes impossible to choose what to eat. There were so many different dining rooms or dining areas to choose from.

From the time we step foot on the ship there were activities to participate in. They always had some type of show or activity for you to participate in. It was very nice. Again the staff was very knowledgable and friendly to all participants.
Service and Staff

The staff were extremely, genuinely friendly. They were ALWAYS willing to help with whatever we needed. They ALL went above and beyond what was required of them. From the wait staff in the dining areas to the bar staff to the bus boys/girls. They were all AWESOME!!

The ship was absolutely beautiful. Well kept and very clean. It was decorated very well and it wasn't that hard to find your way around to different areas.
Cabin / Stateroom

The only thing with the stateroom was the accomodations for married couples. But our room attendant made sure that we were accomodated before we even made it to the ship. She saw that we were a married couple and she took the liberty of putting an additional single bed in our room and pushing it together so that we could have a queen sized bed. We didn't know that until the day before we left, that she did that for us. We thought that was very sweet of her. Even though it made our room a little cramped it was well appreciated.
The shopping is very good in the Bahamas. We took an excursion of the Segways and it was awesome. Even though we had a few technical difficulties with our tour guide (she forgot a set of keys to get us into the garden area) but other than that she was very friendly and very knowlegable about the use of the segways.
Pros: The best thing about the cruise was all of the wonderful service. The staff was very attentive to our every need. My husband and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and Carnival did a wonderful job of making it extra special. From the embarkation to the debarkation it was awesome!!
Cons: IF you book a stateroom please understand that the beds are singles and not made for married people to sleep together. But again our housekeeper accomodated us before we even got there and made sure that we had 2 single beds pushed together so that we could sleep together.
