Balcony with a view...not so much!

Sail Date: June 01, 2008

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Family (young children)

Room Type: Balcony

The ship is old, it has unpleasant odors throughout. I've taken "3" other cruises on different lines and have always been very satisfied until this trip, this ship, and this cruise line.

Pros: I was there with my grandson

Cons: the balcony

Recommends Carnival Sensation? No.

Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
We requested and paid a premium for a "suite w/balcony" the balcony was so small you could barely sit down. The view was nonexistant, the life boats were directly in front of the balcony...of course know one mentioned this during booking.
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
There was nothing "above and beyond" on this cruise.
