The cruise started with some disappointment when we were jerked all around with our luggage. There were no signs when we pulled in to the Cape Canaveral port. We were guided straight to the parking area and not the area where you unload luggage. When we went to the entrance we were told to go to the end of the sidewalk and place our luggage into the bin. We did that. The emabarktion staff with the red shirts on the sidewalks watched us as we put our luggage into the bins. After we finished loading all of it they walked over and told us we had loaded into the wrong luggage bin and to move it to a location that was much further away. It didn't help that it had been raining and everything was getting wet. After we get all the way over to the correct bins on our own with our luggage the porters all offer to load the luggage and want to be tipped.

Food and Dining

I was disappointed that we did not get the seating time we requested. I feel they could do a better job but I understand it is just a crap shoot on what you get. I don't think your preference is really considered. However the food was excellent! The service was excellent. I did have to "jumpstart" our dining staff. We were some of the first to be seated and others who were seated after us were being served while we just sat there about 15 minutes. After speaking with the serving staff we had better than excellent service for the rest of the cruise.

We went to the casino. We won so that was fun! We also had the couples massage which was wonderful! There were a lot of activities scheduled although we did not participate in them all.

Service and Staff

We had an awesome room steward. We were allowed to go to our room early and though he was still working on it, he welcomed us. It really started our trip off right.

Ship Quality

The ship was in good condition. It appeared they are constantly upgrading. New carpet was being installed while we were on board.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room size was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. We were on the Riviera deck, midship. I think being midship makes a difference on the smoothness of the ships movement.

The Segway tour was so much fun! I would recommend it. We also went to the aquarium at the Atlantis. While the aquarium was a good one it was a little difficult to navigate since it was so spread out.
Don't Miss: The Segway tour was FUN!

Pros: The room was a good size, steward was excellent, food was fabulous. We were impressed with how everyone learned and addressed you by name.

Cons: The embarkation staff was not very professional. We were sent to the parking lot without unloading our luggage. We had to lug it all around to find the correct loading area while the embarkation staff with the red shirts watched and then told us to move it without assistance.
