Our First Cruise

Sail Date: June 24, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship was pretty nice. Reminded us of the "Love Boat". Very 80's!! Lots of sparkles and purple.

Pros: The food was very good and the ship stayed clean

Cons: Our room and the people at the ports

Recommends Carnival Sensation? Yes!

If you don't have kids or love bingo, there's not much to do.
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
We had a curtain that lead to a piece of wood. Not even a picture! Rooms sucked, but we knew that before hand. The shipped rocked and opened our bathroom door at night.
Food and Dining
Food was good. But we had to eat at 8:00 because of all the kids.
Service and Staff
The staff was great. Dinner staff was the best.
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Port Lacaya is great. Very nice and few people. Worth the drive.
Don't Miss: Port Lacaya
Nassau, Bahamas
Expensive! Everybody wants your money. Aquarium at Atlantis is not worth $32 a person. Nassua is a cramped inner city.
Don't Miss: Go far away from the port area.
