better then expected

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

Being a family that has cruised often, but never on Carnival, we weren't sure what to expect. Ship was clean, nice sized cabins, very friendly staff.

Pros: dinners were outstanding

Cons: breakfast and lunch buffets were mediocre/no ping-pong/sprinkles

Food and Dining
OUTSTANDING DINNERS!!!! As good or better than Celebrity or Royal Caribbean. Attentive dining room service.
Curves show was not too good. The 80's show was excellent. Good overall entertainment...
Ship Quality
Good sized ship although it took a while to navigate the decks as many did not go from end to end...
Cabin / Stateroom
Very plaeasantly surprised with size of cabin and decor. The bathroom had a urine odor which they could not get rid of.
Service and Staff
All, were friendly except sushi chef.....
Nassau, Bahamas
Nassau had decent shopping and take the taxi to Paradise Island for the beaches.
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
Freeport a dump at the dock.. Beaches were good.
